These are my personal notes from the book The Secret by Rhonda Byrnes read by the author on Audible. This book may be considered a little woo woo by my conservative friends, however, I highly recommend it to a lot of folks. I wish I had understood these things at a lot earlier age.

While I know that ‘our words’ have power and so do ‘our thoughts’, this book really helped me understand this at a deeper level. Over the years I’ve made sure to increasingly become more thoughtful, no pun intended, in how I construct the messages that I repeat to myself.

Chapter 1

Your Thoughts Become Things

“Thoughts have frequencies. When you continue to think something, you’re emitting that frequency on a consistent basis.”
